The patch release of RStudio works after changing my current R version back to 4.1.0, so all is well.R-Studio can automatically recognize and assemble the components of these disk managers even if their databases are slightly damaged. Sorry I have edited this post a billion times, but this is the last one.

You can also install the Preview of the RStudio -2 patch release, which is compatible with the arm 64 build of R 4.1.0.

It looks like you can get around this by downloading the Intel version of R 4.1.0, and it will work with Rosetta 2. Anyone have thoughts on this? If I reinstall the older version of R will that fix it? Should I put on by big girl pants and use the straight console until RStudio releases a native compatible version? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated by me and my dissertation!!Įdit: Ok I finally found a post from yesterday on the RStudio support board. R works fine if I launch it by itself, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling RStudio to no avail. I downloaded 4.1.0, but I get this error from R studio now.
